Международный конгресс по психологии, проводится каждые четыре года под эгидой Международного союза психологических наук и является одним из главных событий в международной психологии. 30-я Международный конгресс психологов впервые проводится в Африке. Конгресс организован Национальным фондом исследований Южной Африки и психологическим обществом Южной Африки, в сотрудничестве с ключевыми южноафриканскими университетами. Organised around the theme Psychology Serving Humanity, the congress will highlight how psychology translates its science and practice into the knowledge, skills and tools that are able to underpin the human condition. Besides Invited Addresses and Symposia by global leaders in their fields, there will be scintillating State of the Science Lectures and Controversial Debates on topics of current interest, and exhibitions by leading publishing houses, technological innovators and international psychology organisations. Special activities will include an exciting Emerging Psychologists' Programme, Advanced Research Training Seminars for psychologists from the developing world, various pre and post congress satellite conferences.
