  To this exciting current state of neuroscience, fellows and awardees of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation have made numerous seminal contributions and currently spearhead the ongoing efforts to unify functional and structural analysis approaches. This symposium on “Frontiers in Neuroscience: Multi-Scale Analysis of the Nervous System – From Molecules to Circuits” aimed to highlight these contributions and discuss future developments. Moreover, a broad range of early career scientists were invited to share their ongoing contributions to the field of neuroscience and discuss the state of the field from the viewpoint of those who will shape it in the years to come.
