  In 2016, the All-Russian School-Colloquium on Stochastic Methods, which was held since 1994 for 20 consecutive years in various regions of Russia, was transformed into the International Conference on Stochastic Methods. The first such conference was held from May 27 to June 3, 2016 in the village of Abrau-Durso (campus "Moryak (Sailor)") near Novorossiysk. The second one took place in the same campus from May 25 to May 31, 2017. These conferences had a significant success and gathered probabilists from various cities of Russia and abroad. Many participants noted the high level of organization of conferences. The vast majority of reports contained new important results. Many young scientists, post-graduate students and students took part in the conferences. The abstracts of the participants were published in the journal "Theory of Probability and its Applications" in 2016 and 2017. It was decided to hold the 3rd International Conference on Stochastic Methods from 03 to 09 June 2018 in the village of Divnomorskoye (near Novorossiysk) on the Black Sea coast.
