The conference is supported by IEEE, IEEE Comuter Society, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations, IEEE, IEEE Comuter Society, Russian Foundation for Basic Research. In 2018, we will celebrate 70 years of Russian computer science. In 1948, the Institute of Precision Mechanics and Computer Engineering of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the Special Design Bureau 245 of the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering and Instrument Making were created. These two organizations played a leading role in the initial stage of the creation of the computing industry of the USSR. Computer Science in Russia began with the works of Isaak Brook, who in August 1948 prepared a project "Automatic digital electronic machine. A little later, on December 4, 1948, he, together with engineer Bashir Rameev, submitted an application for the invention of a computer to the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on the Introduction of Advanced Technology into the National Economy. The 10475 author's certificate issued by the State Committee is the first officially registered document indicating that a computer era has begun in Russia. More detailed information on the first dramatic years of computer science development in Russia/USSR you can find here. Since that date, the history of modern domestic informatics has begun as a new science that connects the history of human informatics with the modern computer information technology: from the first books and the first libraries to modern electronic means that allow access to the best achievements of science and culture anywhere in the world at any time. December 4, 1948 is the Birthday of Russian computer science. In honor of these remarkable dates, we hold our international conference "Engineering Technologies and Computer Science". The conference is a bridge between the present, the past and the future. History and modernity. Forecast of the future. Computers, applications, close directions, the impact of computer technology on other areas. Reports are invited for the following areas: • Computer science • Computer techologies • Applied electrical engineering
