The Workshop broght together a group of experienced CEPA practitioners from across the Flyway to Develop a Joint CEPA Project for the EAAFP to take place in 2019 and to share information on Successful CEPA Interventions and materials. The overall aim is to inspire CEPA action across the flyway for the benefit of migratory birds and the flyway sites. The key objectives of the workshop included to: 1. Develop one joint CEPA activity which EAAFP/Ramsar and other wetland sites can participate in during 2019 and beyond to raise awareness of the magic of waterbird migration along the EAAF and the need for cooperation across the flyway to conserve their habitats. 2. Exchange good practices promoting CEPA for migratory waterbirds and their habitats along the EAAF. Participants will be expected to prepare a 15-minute Powerpoint presentation describing a successful CEPA activity that you have been involved in. 3. Share examples of effective communication materials with other participants.
