Implementing Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) principles and process across the lifecycle is critical to designing, developing, and supporting successful products. Symposium papers to address the overall critically of RAMS disciplines in the design, development and support process, and how these disciplines can be applied on all technology through lessons learned, analyses, modeling and simulation, and training. Equally as important is the discussion of the classical approaches, spanning all technologies and disciplines in the focus to optimize performance. The implementation of the RAMS disciplines becomes a competitive advantage throughout the product life cycle to improve product quality and reduce life cycle cost. Symposium participants can learn more about how to obtain, manage, and effectively leverage any of the RAMS disciplines in day-to-day quest to improve technology and to bring to market those systems that make our world a better place. Symposium is the premier forum for sharing your experience, knowledge, and roadmaps to success. RAMS Symposium зapers are the best medium to document advancements in the state- of-the-art, and those accepted will be published in the Proceedings. A short technical presentation with discussion period (approximately one-half hour) will be given for each paper at the Symposium. It is the policy of the symposium to publish all papers presented in IEEE Xplore. Topics pertinent to Reliability and Maintainability are relevant to our theme, such as: Availability, Design Optimization Using R&M Techniques, Discrete Event Modeling & Simulation, Economic Models for R&M Equipment, Diagnostics and Prognostics, FMEA, Fault Tolerance and Safety Critical Systems, Fault Tree Analysis, Human Reliability, Life Data Analysis, Maintenance Models and Methodologies, Physical Reliability Models, Quality in Electronics, R&M Applications in Aerospace, Infrastructure Management, in Manufacturing and Service, Supportability, R&M Management, Reliability Modeling, Reliability Growth Analysis, Repairable Systems, Risk Analysis and Management, Software Reliability and Testing, System Safety Analysis, Warranty Data Analysis and Management.
