Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is a premier scientific society, setup under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. CDAC known for its service to the nation & humanity is proud to look back at the niche path that it has carved for itself in a wide spectrum of cutting edge technologies ranging from High performance & Multilingual computing to Power electronics, Health informatics, e-Governance and others. C-DAC has firmly believed that benefits of the high end research carried out in scientific labs must trickle down to the benefit of the common man. With this strong legacy, C-DAC continues to look forward for an exciting journey in the future, to actively pioneer and foster innovations in the fields of information technology. With its immensely popular PARAM & Yuva series of supercomputers, C-DAC’s name has become synonymous with High Performance Computing in the Indian context. C-DAC, which is now spearheading the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) along with IISc, is organizing a two day National Conference on Parallel Computing ”PARCOMPTECH 2017”, technically cosponsored by Bangalore sections of IEEE and CSI. PARCOMPTECH aims to provide a platform for Indian scientific and engineering computing fraternities from academics, scientific labs, R&D institutions, industry and government to share their research work, knowledge and experience in the field of parallel computing technologies. This would also enable India to leapfrog into the premium class of supercomputing power nations. The Third edition of National conference on “Parallel Computing Technologies (PARCOMPTECH-2017) is being organized by C-DAC during 23-24 February – 2017, at NIAS Auditorium, Bangalore, recognize the immense potential of parallel computing technology. This Conference is being organized with an objective to provide a platform through which various Indian scientific and engineering computing fraternities from academics, scientific labs, R&D institutions, industry and government can share their research work, knowledge and experience in the field of parallel computing technologies. This conference will act as a preferential ground to create a true collaborative environment, ultimately promoting scientific and technological development.
