We are thrilled to bring you the first ever virtual Applied Superconductivity Conference. You can now engage with the Applied Superconductivity community without leaving your office/home/cave/beach. As a registered attendee you can view presentations at any time until December 31st 2020. The Applied Superconductivity Conference (ASC) has been held every two years since 1967, bringing together 1600 scientists and engineers from industry, universities, and private and government laboratories. The conference name identifies its core activity, applied superconductivity, which includes stakeholders in medical devices, large science projects, astronomy, electricity, communications, computing, security, transportation, and environment. The conference mission is to facilitate the exchange of information between attendees from around the world via plenary sessions, oral and poster sessions, an industrial exhibition, publication of selected manuscripts, and through many other meetings run in conjunction with the main technical program. More than half of the normal attendance comes from outside the United States. Conference attendees also fill the entire spectrum of age and experience. The ASC serves as the main venue for awards, education, and outreach activities, some of which are connected with ongoing missions of major scientific and engineering societies, and some that are open to the local community.
