  The climate crisis is the biggest challenge humanity has ever faced. Tackling this challenge needs a multi-stakeholder approach where everyone is open to understanding, acknowledging and acting now in order to protect the lives of next generations on this planet. The main aim of the “Responsible Futures” programme is to raise awareness of the urgency of climate change, to evoke the desire to change behaviour and to create the environment for personal and collective action to adapt and mitigate for the risks of climate change. It is vitally important to engage Russian and UK universities in this dialogue because universities are future-oriented, and lead on research. We’d like also to raise awareness and motivate early career researchers and students as they will shape the future and we need green agenda to be natural and integral part of their research, their thinking, their lives.
