  International Liquid Crystal Conference, ILCC, meetings, have been held biennially under the sponsorship of the International Liquid Crystal Society since 1965. In 2022 the conference will be organized, in Lisbon, jointly by the International Liquid Crystal Society (ILCS), the NOVA School of Science & Technology (NOVA), the University of Lisbon (UL), the School of Engineering of the Lisbon Polytechnic Institute (ISEL) and the Portuguese Liquid Crystals Society (PLCS).
