  As Organizers we are delighted to invite you to participate in the Young Scientists Program (YSP) / 12th YSF which will be held at the wonderful seaside resort of Costa Ballena (Cádiz), in sunny Spain, 1-4 September 2012. YSP was first introduced in 2000 by IUBMB and in 2001 by FEBS as a satellite meeting and an important part of their respective Congresses. These meetings offer young scientists from all over the world the opportunity to share and exchange scientific experience, present their work to an international audience, meet with internationally renowned professors, promote their scientific future and, why not, have fun. We encourage PhD students and post doctoral fellows to submit their applications. The most deserving 125 young scientists will be selected from the world-wide applicants by the YSP2012 / 12th YSF Evaluation Committee to be invited to the meeting. The expenses of these outstanding young scientists will be covered by a grant not only for this meeting but also for the accommodation and the conference fee of the subsequent 22nd IUBMB & 37th FEBS Congress in Seville. Travel grants are also included. We are looking forward to receiving your application and to welcoming you in the south of Spain.
