  The main goal of 11th Summer School was to explore the contemporary challenges associated with migration and integration. School’s program focused on the following topics: • Differing societal understandings of what constitutes migration/integration challenges and appropriateness of solutions • Migration as historical phenomenon • New challenges and threats in managing migration • Inclusion of migrants • Media communication and discourses of migration • Competence profiles of civil servants involved in managing migration processes • The development of appropriate course materials in the form of syllabus, assessment exercises and feedback matrices, targeted pedagogical techniques and readings.
