The Applied Superconductivity Conference, a biennial conference series, is the major international forum for scientists and engineers to present and discuss the latest research results, ideas and developments in every aspect of the science, technology and applications of superconductors. With the theme of “Race to Energy Efficiency,” the meeting will attract a broad spectrum of participants in research, technology development, and industrial manufacturing of superconductors (wire, magnets, etc.) and larger systems, as well as end users for a wide variety of applications. Over 1700 scientists in the international high temperature- and low temperature superconductivity and supporting technologies communities will convene at this important meeting. Participants from U.S. and international universities, industry, national laboratories, and other government agencies will address recent progress in applications. Leading U.S. and international experts will discuss the latest status on products in the marketplace, and discuss critical issues of science, materials and devices. An exciting Exhibition will also be held to showcase the latest commercial products. Outreach events will also be available to the local community.
