  The second international conference organized by the European network on linguistics and languages of the Anatolia-Caucasus-Iran-Mesopotamia area (LACIM) was held in Paris from 4 to 5 December, 2024. It was dedicated to grammaticalization in Anatolia-Caucasus-Iran-Mesopotamia area. The primary aim of the current conference was to thoroughly explore the grammaticalization clines and sources in the languages of Anatolia-Caucasus-Iran-Mesopotamia from both diachronic and synchronic perspectives, with a particular emphasis on capturing the areal dimension as comprehensively as possible.
