To learn new trends of civil service human resource development, collect successful examples from global counterparts, and implement and reinvent Taiwan’s civil service training methods, so to nurture excellent civil servants to improve the quality of Taiwan’s civil service, and upgrade administration efficiency, public service and cross-border exchange and cooperation, in year 2010 the Civil Service Protection & Training Commission (CSPTC) launched the International Conference on Human Resource Development in the Public Sector on an annual basis, inviting chiefs or representatives of foreign training institutions to Taiwan to share their valuable experience with their counterparts here, in the hopes of enriching mutual understanding and initiating cross-border communication and collaboration regarding civil service training.
