Philosophy of art develops intensively since the end of the 60-s. Its basic issues are: what are the main criteria for the work of art and what is its language? I share an opinion of many contemporary art critics (such as Arthur Danto and Rosalynd Krauss) that contemporary art is a theory in the first place. And since that is a theory, it turns out to be very close to philosophy. The most actual this direction is when it concerns so called hybrid art – which is media-art and science-art. This kind of art is energetically working with modern technologies: robots. 3D-printers and multichannel projections. So we might conclude that hybrid art is a new technological palette of art. Surprising is that hybrid art solves just the same problems which the art of the previous eras did: what is human-being, what is humanity, and what is more important – what it moves on to. Those are exactly the points in which hybrid art turns out to be close to philosophy.
