Abstract The analysis of the eclipses in the DQ Her system based on the photometric observations in 1954, 1956 and 1975 allows the determination of its photometric elements and the structure of the disk-like envelope surrounding the primary component. The orbital inclination is 80 deg, the major axis of the secondary component is 0.40. A decrease in the optical luminosity of 20% and in the total dimension of the disk-like envelope of 10% was observed from 1954 to 1975. The brightness on the disk-like envelope increases towards its center up to xi-0.1. Bolometric luminosity of the envelope is (1-2) solar luminosities and that of the central white dwarf is anomalously high: (20-200) solar luminosities. The effective temperature of its surface is about (1.0-1.7) x 10 to the 5th. All these facts can be considered as an evidence that the disk-like envelope in the DQ Her system is an accreting one.
