This paper is devoted to translations of poetry that are not equivalent to the original on the lexical level, but rather on that of phonetic, grammatical, and rhythmic-syntactic parameters, which are, according to J.C.Catford’s “Linguistic Theory of Translation”, characterized by their “detachability” or “separability for translation purposes”.
