Аннотация доклада:
The aim of this study was to collect and analyze the opinions of high school Russian students about which pronunciation norm an English teacher should follow (if any) and which pronunciation norm they personally want to master. The survey administered to 29 eleventh- graders at a state school has shown that the overwhelming majority of students would like both themselves and their English teachers to sound like British native speakers.
