Due to the process of globalization, legal terminology is be understood and communicated internationally, which poses a particular problem to both teachers and students. Not only should the semantic fields be taken into consideration while teaching and learning legal terms, but also the systemic nature of every terminology. The systemic nature of the term is one of its most important properties. Any subject or discipline can be expressed through a system of concepts, which, in their turn, can be represented through a system of terms. The notion of the semantic field is the only systemic aspect which is taken into account while writing Legal English textbooks. However, there are other systemic features which, if applied appropriately, could be of great advantage to students.
