The most of reagentless affinity sensors lack selectivity because response to both specific binding and non-specific interactions cause the resistance increase. We report on the obtained in course of electropolymerization of aminophenylboronic acids (APBA) conductive boronate-subsituted polyaniline, that generates conductivity increase as a result of specific reaction with saccharides and hydroxy acids. Moreover, successful imprinting of poly(APBA) with hydroxy acids allows one to achieve the desired selectivity of sensor. We propose the non-enzymatic sensor based on screen-printed electrode modified with imprinted poly(APBA) for selective detection of sweat lactate. The attractive performance characteristics of sensors promise their applicability for noninvasive diagnostics.
