We analyze the magnetopause crossings in a quiet geomagnetic conditions and during magnetic storms. The entire period of operation of THEMIS satellites, since the launch (in 2007) to the present, was studied. The geomagnetic storms with a minimum Dst <-50 nT were selected. We compare the magnetopause crossings during magnetic storms with a set of crossings in quiet geomagnetic conditions. The partial contribution of each component of the pressure to the total pressure was defined. The following features of the behavior of the pressure and its components during magnetic storms are: - The magnetic pressure in many cases is not only prevalent inside the magnetosphere, but also in the magnetosheath. Averaging over many events shows that the contribution of the magnetic component of the pressure to the total pressure is much higher during disturbed geomagnetic conditions. - Plasma pressure rises at the entrance to the magnetosheath, but its average contribution to the total pressure is significantly less than under quite conditions. - The magnitude of pressure fluctuations increases during the magnetic storms. The duration of the magnetopause passage by the satellites also increases. - In general, the magnitude of the pressure on the magnetopause boundaries during magnetic storms is about twice the average pressure in quite conditions.
