The magnetosheath is a highly turbulent region that links the solar wind and the magnetosphere of the Earth. We analyze the plasma variations with frequencies from 0.01 to 10 Hz in the Earth’s magnetosheath. We use SPECTR-R measurements with high time resolution – 32 ms – for spectral analysis and THEMIS-B(-C) and SPECTR-R measurements with 3 s time resolutions for correlation analysis. We study correlation coefficients between two sets of data in the magnetosheath in order to estimate how plasma changes during transport across it. Also we produce a statistical study of more than 100 hours of magnetosheath ion flux fluctuations spectra in frequency range 0.01-10 Hz. Magnetosheath plasma fluctuations within this frequency range were not studied in detail previously. We compare parameters of spectra of magnetosheath fluctuations with the solar wind ones using large statistical basis. We find that spectra of ion flux fluctuations in the magnetosheath become steeper at frequencies higher than ~0.1-1 Hz similar to the spectra in the solar wind. The difference of spectra parameters for magnetosheath and solar wind is discussed.
