Glycated proteins are important indicator for carbohydrate metabolism disorder in the organism. Currently there are no techniques for simultaneous determination of glycated albumin and glycated hemoglobin because of their different amplitude of analytical signal. Thus aim of this work was simultaneous determination of glycated forms of these proteins. To solve problem of different amplitudes of signals modificated gold nanoparticles were used. Specific interaction between modificated GNP and glycated proteins is based on non-covalent binding of glucose residue with phenyl-boronic acid. Raman Spectroscopy was used for glycated proteins analysis. Liquid-drop deposition technique was investigated for determination of protein composition in very small amount of sample. Spectra of glycated and unglycated proteins were obtained. For spectra separation we used principal component analysis (PCA), it helps to discriminate glycated protein spectrum from non-glycated one. Quantification of percentage of glycation was made with Partial Least Squares Regression method.
