The TUS detector is a first orbital telescope aimed to test the the technique of measuring UV fluorescent and Cherenkov radiation of extensive air showers (EAS) from space. A two-level on-line trigger was developed and implemented in the photodetector digital electronics. This trigger is optimized for EAS search but it has to operate in conditions of the atmosphere glow as of natural origin (aurora light, scattered moon light) so of anthropogenic origin (city light). Trigger rate depends also on rate of the atmosphere transient events of various origins. Improvements of future missions trigger systems are discussed.
