The research presents a possible approach to modelling the behaviour of such materials under plastic deformation based on essentially general formulation of plasticity criterion. The examples of different materials with the use of corresponding approaches to model of the behaviour are analysed and compared with experimental data. Some of examples shown in this work are possible extensions of plasticity criterion, which take into account strain rate effects and anisotropy of material remaining possibility to model main effect of susceptibility to loading conditions. All demonstrated examples are verified by experimental data, with successful correlation, which show up a possible practical implementation of presented approach.
