We investigate perforation of 3-brane, embedded into Minkowski space-time with codimension one, by a point particle imoinging in from the bulk.Gravity is treated within the linearized theory, and only gravitational interaction between the particle and the brane is assumed. Gravitational field of the particle excites the Nambu-Goldstone scalar field on the brane. We show that limiting form of the Nambu-Goldstone field in the first case is such that the source term in the corresponding wave equation is three-dimensional delta-function, which mimics the presence of the scalar charge. Appearence of this charge can be attributed to the brane perforation.
