Studying the dynamics of thrombin generation following vessel wall injury is crucial for understanding the key mechanisms of hemostatic response and thrombosis. However, the experimental data on thrombin generation dynamics and fibrin formation demonstrate significant variations between models involved. Our goal was to analyze the spatio-temporal aspects of primary thrombin generation followed arterial wall injury using in silico approaches and explain the differences in the kinetics of thrombin and fibrin formation described in the literature
