Microrheologic properties of blood are related to erythrocytes interaction: reversible aggregation and forced dissagregation of erythrocytes. These processes strongly determine blood hemorheology and microcirculation. It is known that the interaction of cells depends both the membrane properties and the environment. The latter is determined by different plasma constituents especially by plasma proteins: albumin, fibrinogen, etc. The role of each plasma protein in red blood cell (RBC) interaction is not fully understood so far. The experiments conducted using different techniques with mixtures of different plasma proteins yield somewhat controversial results. We assume that there might be an unaccounted synergetic effect of proteins on the cells interaction. The aim of this work is to assess the kinetics and dynamics of erythrocyte interaction in model solutions with varying plasma proteins and their concentrations. All experiments were performed in vitro with diffuse light scattering (DLS) and lasers tweezers (LT) techniques.
