To assess the performance of different predictive models, DSC analysis of several alloys of the Ag-Au-In ternary was performed using NETZSCH Jupiter STA 449 F1 apparatus. The samples were initially single-phase fcc or hcp solid solutions. The effectivity of using DTA/DSC data for assessment of performance of models for CALPHAD calculations and for estimating and refining of parameters of ternary interactions in liquid and solid phases is discussed.
