The new experimental results demonstrating the relationship of experimental contact angles of test liquids at the polymer surfaces and polymer surface energy characteristics with its physical-chemical properties at the multiscale and multidimension levels were presented and discussed. The correlations between surface energy characteristics of polymer films with polymer free volume, gas permeability, strength characteristics of micro plastics with polymer binder reinforced with inorganic fibers were observed. The dependence of surface energetic characteristics from chemical nature of residual solvent in amorphous polymer films was illustrated. The obtained results point out on the perspectives of contact angles application to estimation of polymers efficiency as membrane materials and on the possibility of express testing of polymer films in non equilibrium but in stationary state.
