The role and the position of science in the modern world has radically changed because of the rapid transformation of the economics of the most developed countries of the world from the industrial to the post-industrial development model. Science has become the leading force in the economic development of the modern society. Also, the science is the source of the growth of the modern society welfare, of the state power and of the strengthening of the world positions of the country. The organization of scientific activity is a subject of special attention and care of leading countries of the world. In 2018 Mendeleev University has celebrated its 120-th anniversary. But its lecture halls and scientific laboratories were opened for women only in 1920. At that time one of the first decrees of the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republics on the freedom to enter higher schools “for everyone without exams and diplomas” was implemented. Since then, under the supervision of female graduates many significant researches have been carried out for the country: from research in the field of compilation of gunpowder in the 40-th XX c. to researches related to green chemistry, sustainable development, risk assessment and management at present.
