Crosshole seismic testing (CST) is one of a few methods that allows to obtain a detailed structure of investigated site to a considerable depth, and therefore finds application for studying soils under essential structures. This paper considers the approaches to carry out the surveys by means of CST method: from the field stage to the analysis of results through the example of one project site. The features of the wave field and the possibility of using waves of different types are analyzed. The following approaches for data processing are considered: the features of geometry input, allocation of target waves, automation of some processes. Special attention is paid to tomographic inversion and choice of parameters of the initial approximation model. The obtained inversion result is analyzed together with other geophysical methods and drilling results.
