In the Polar Geophysical Institute the hadronic and electromagnetic secondary cosmic radiation (SCR) components are continuously recorded with the complex monitoring system [1, 2]. To record the electromagnetic component of the SCR, scintillation spectrometers with the various geometric dimensions and the different recorded spectrum are used. This detector registers the charged particles together with gamma quanta in a certain tasks, also the charged component detector (CCD) was designed and installed to isolate the charged component. The feature of this detector is that it allows extracting only the charged particles, in particular muons and electrons from the entire electron-photon component of SCR. Initially, this detector was installed in 2014 in Apatity, the obtained data on the variations of the charged component were processed and coincided with the expected results.
