Nucleotide content and short nucleotide string frequencies have been explored since the first DNA sequences became available. Several peculiar features have been observed in the literature. The number of available genomes is exponentially growing. We explore the possibility that the sequences of new genomes carry unexpected peculiarities in their nucleotide content. The objective of this work is systematical study of word frequencies in previously and currently sequenced genomes.
