One of the promising ways of development of new nickel-cobalt alloys is a combination of solid-solution hardening that is provided alloying the alloys by the transition metals of V-VI groups, with their hardening by matrix coherent dispersed precipitates of intermetallic phases formed during decomposition of supersaturated solid solutions. For the development of this area, first of all, it is necessary to investigate the processes of dispersion hardening alloys of ternary Co-Ni-Me systems, since Ni3Me phase has been successfully used for hardening nickel based superalloys. One such system is a three-component Co-Ni-Ta system.
