●Chernobyl samples have higher growth rate in a poor medium and higher resistance to oxidative stress; ●The genome of strain S1492 is of increased interest because of elevated mutation rate; ●Chernobyl samples have strong transition/transverion ratio bias towards elevated number of transitions on a genome-wide scale.
