In this work UiO-66 and MOF-5 were synthesized and used as carriers for Ni catalysts. Ni was supported by impregnation method from ethanol solution of Ni(acac)2 . Such produced Ni(acac)2/UiO-66 and Ni(acac)2/MOF-5 were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), AAS, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), low-temperature N2 adsorption-desorption. Catalysts precursors were reduced by H2 at 300ºC during 3 h to form Ni/MOF-5 or Ni/UiO-66 in the catalytic reactor immediately before the catalytic tests in chlorobenzene (CB) hydrodechlorination (HDC) in vapor-phase in continuous-flow fixed bed catalytic system.
