The elaborated Thylakoid Model (TM) allowed fitting to both FI and ΔA810 data monitored on dark-adapted pea leaves at PFD 200 μmol photons m2 s1 during the 20 s time range. The two-wave kinetics of O(JI)PSMT and OABCD were reproduced in their parallel and antiparallel phases with the parameter quantification of electron and proton transfer in the thylakoid membrane, lumen, stroma compartments. 20% of F0 was attributed to PSI activity and (t), pHL/S(t) dynamics was found physiologically relevant. The model buffer capacity variation from 43 to 81 mM gave the (t)peak increasing from 8 to 15 mV at reasonable ranges of H, K, Cl fluxes. Supposing the FNR activation effect in the time domain of 20–40 s the time-dependent rate constant was introduced to describe the NADP reduction by ferredoxin. Transitions between the linear and cyclic modes, concurrent with ATPase operation can be clarified over a wide time-scale due to quantitative analysis of the light induction stages preceding the stationary state.
