Bloch surface waves (BSW) are surface electromagnetic waves on the interface between photonic crystal (PC) and dielectric [1]. Recently BSW-based platform has emerged as an all-dielectric counterpart to well-known surface plasmon polariton (SPP). BSW exceed SPP in propagation length and could be TE- or TM-polarized. Proper selection of PC layers thicknesses and materials allows to achieve excitation of BSW at any desired wavelength ranging from UV to IR. Waveguides for BSW were demonstrated in Ref. [2]. In our work we show wide variety of polymer BSW-based devices ranging from waveguides to microprisms that implement miniature Otto configuration. These devices were manufactured by two-photon polymerization (2PP) that has established itself as an excellent method for manufacturing micro-optical devices such as lenses and phase gratings [3].
