Аннотация доклада:
We consider a matrix which, together with its inverse, plays an important role in design of a feedback control bringing a linear system to equilibrium. We prove that the inverse matrix is integer and is divisible by a number, which is large as the dimension of the system is large. Similar results are obtained for the Hilbert matrix. The method is based upon number theoretic study of related orthogonal polynomials.
