One of the main features of the magnetospheric processes is their collisionless character. Kappa distributions in this case are formed due to accelerations and relaxations of strong nonequilibrium (beams, conics, butterfly, etc) distribution functions in longrange interacting systems. These processes have been poorly studied till now. The use of kappa distributions provides a unique possibility to study magnetospheric dynamics as the evolution of kappa distribution parameters gives us information on the transport processes in the magnetosphere. We analyze the evolution of kappa distributions in the magnetospheric tail, at the dayside magnetopause and magnetosheath. We show that using single kappa and bikappa approximations it is possible to clarify the transport processes inside the magnetosphere and at its boundaries. We discuss the selfconsistent picture of the development of magnetospheric turbulence at different scales and role of eddy diffusion in the formations of parameters of kappa distributions.
