Аннотация доклада:
Long chain fatty acid, as well as the fatty acid with branched chai (pristanic and phytanic acid), are extremely hydrophobic acid practically insoluble in water. Patients with abnormal peroxisome function can be observed, the increased content of long chain fatty acids (with chain greater than 26 carbon atoms) can be determined. Hexacosanoic acid C26:0, lignoceric acid C24:0, behenic acid C22:0, and their relations can also be used for diagnostics. Determination of long chain fatty acids content was performed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detection (GC-MS).
