Аннотация доклада:
New carbonized elastomer composite materials (Elastocarb technologies LLC) were investigated as a bipolar plate material for all-vanadium redox flow battery to substitute conventional graphite. The key advantage of carbonized elastomer composite is straight forming of the final product with complicated geometry during the synthesis. The sintered composites demonstrated enhanced mechanical properties along with zero electrolyte permeability.
