This paper deals with the question of finding the new effective ways of studying foreign languages in the modern world. The author points some actual questions connected with the possibilities of learning in the 21st century. Furthermore, the author applies to the problem of uncovering some typical mental traits of people from different countries through the cross-cultural point of view.
