Antifrictional nanostructured composite coating consisting of ceramics wrought by dynamic metallization and sprayed with the thin layer of monocrystalline carbon (MCC) with the properties of the orientant is proposed to be used as a promising nanomaterial for tribological function for heavily loaded steel parts of lubricated friction angles. Such a coating provides a high level of adhesion to substrate, high mechanical strength and high antifriction properties to the tribological conjunction because the coating-orientant allows to create a highly well-ordered and composed of homeotropically oriented molecules of the lubricant boundary layer with excellent sliding properties and high thermal resistance on the border of solid body and lubricating medium. The results of the laboratory tests of tribological coatings for lubrication with two specific oils (mineral and synthetic) are discussed.
