Before getting to the main point of what I’m up to say to you, I want to give you some trivia. Some days ago I saw a brilliant movie called Little women. A movie that made history in cinema world is about four sisters, their lives and quarrels. One of the quotes from the film is up on the screen: “I’m just a woman. And as a woman, I have no way to make money, not enough to earn a living and support my family. Even if I had my own money, which I don’t, it would belong to my husband the minute we were married. If we had children they would belong to him, not me. They would be his property. So don’t sit there and tell me that marriage isn’t an economic proposition, because it is.”. .” So, is that fair to treat one gender differently from the other? Do women have enough talent to earn decent living or even become famous? Is world that conservative that cannot see women equal to men in rights and opportunities? The movie shows that women can do what they want, achieve the so-much-wished-for goals and be free. The key to success is our desire. If a person really wants to get something, he definitely will. Nevertheless, mere will is not enough. Reinforcement to our endeavors is as important. We always need support. The other quote I'd like to highlight is: "Women Have Minds And Souls As Well As Just Hearts, And They’ve Got Ambition And Talent As Well As Just Beauty. And I’m Sick Of People Saying That Love Is All A Woman Is Fit For." Stereotypes... Every day we face them. What are they? Is that a phrase that someone coined and sent being repeated? Is that a sort of bullying? Looking at our modern hectic, hyperactive and over-stimulated world, we may think that everything is just right: man and women are equal in their rights. But, is there bitter true behind this? Is that real? Many people are convinced that single career-cloistered women are must trying to fulfill their ambitions as they suffer from have inferiority complex. However, why do they think so? Do they believe that women feel lonely? Cannot they just enjoy solitude and tranquility? Even developed countries with their high gender attitude standards often see man and women being treated unequally: sometimes their wages or even their positions differ. Isn't the 21st century the time we get to understanding that women can be as talented and determined as men, that they can make important decisions, rule countries and be richer than man? Why should women always prove that they deserve their positions and lives? Even in the plane taking a second female pilot may create a problem. Why so? Did they do anything wrong? Nope! That just a sort of gender stereotypes. And I feel that it's time to change them. You may say that we do many things to improve the situation. Too little is done. We don't need new vacancies, we need that people change their minds! We need equality!
