High-precision modern methods of space geodesy enable to determine the time evolution of coordinates of geodetic points and track the deformations of the earth’s surface. However, the velocities of discrete points in space do not reflect the geodynamic processes of the entire study area. The need to use new methods of mathematical modeling of velocities is due to the growing volume of source satellite data. The research compares the results of mathematical modeling of velocities obtained using the least-square collocation method, which is based on establishing the spatial correlation of the measured values, and the method of linear integral representations S-approximation.
