This work provides information on the structure of liquid alloys Al100-хCuх (х = 0, 2,… 28 at.%) by direct (synchrotron studies) and indirect (viscosity studies) methods, as well as by modeling the melts. The temperature range of research is from the liquidus of alloys to 1300°C. Electron-microscopic and durametric comparative studies of the structure and microhardness of Al-Cu alloys formed as a result of ultrafast cooling of melts (spinning method) after various overheating over liquidus have been carried out. Quenching temperatures are 1043 and 1473 K.
