Abstract: This article analyses the specifics of AI labour market and gives some insight into the field of getting a proper education and building a career in the field of AI. The tendencies of this kind of labour market are described. Some typical examples of jobs, industries, business spheres common for skilled, experienced AI professionals as well as the major competencies required in the sphere of Artificial Intelligence are revealed. The author mentions educational and research institutes, that are engaged into educational process as well as fundamental and applied cognitive research in AI. The author gives some examples of AI scientists working together with professionals in other fields.
